KLI knows that not all English learners will have the same needs. Some students already have strong grammar backgrounds but need help with confidence in communicating. Some students have great oral and verbal English, but lack the necessary grammar skills to communicate effectively while writing.

The Kingston Language Institute offers two very different part-time courses.

1. Part-Time Academic Course
2. Part-Time Communications Course

KLI's Part-Time Academic Course ensures that each and every student will have the grammar, structure and formatting skills to effectively and properly communicate while writing and speaking in a formal setting. Students will be asked to write essays, read articles, and perform daily grammar exercises.

KLI's Part-Time Communications Course ensures that each and every student will feel comfortable and be confident when communicating with native English speakers. Students are expected to perform a variety of classroom based and real life activities.  Presentations, debates, and out of class activities all encourage students to enhance and use theirs English communication skills.
